These seafront cottages offer the best value for money that we have come across so far on the island of Zanzibar. The whole complex has 6 private cottages, a main villa with 4 bedrooms & in- and outdoor restaurant and a pool area with beach bar and access to the beach. A short walk from the reception took us to the entrance of our private beach garden. Stepping through the entrance our gaze was cast out directly to the Indian Ocean through the entrance over the double bed with sitting area and veranda beyond.
This cottage has been designed in all manners to appreciate the incredible sea view.

After we finally managed to turn our focus away from the mesmerizing turquoise coloured ocean view, we realized that we are standing in a solid cottage built of local coral rock and from the bed towards the sea 270° are made of glass or french doors. To add to the splendor, the furnishings have been colorfully chosen to match with the wooden furniture.

A small corner promises to be the bathroom, but on entering it reveals into a much larger bathroom with a free standing bath tub with sea view, a shower, toilet and double sink. The quality fittings are solid and generally the bathroom is in top condition. Opposite the spacious bathroom is a walk-in wardrobe with a small wall safe.

To quench our thirst we walked to the pool bar where there is a decent sized swimming pool with ample space for kids to play, pool beds spread throughout the beach garden with the bar situated to the far end and two shaded lounge areas built onto the rock with comfortable cushions. Close to the bar is a cemented stairway that leads to a beach that very few other properties have access to.

In the main building is the restaurant with various in- and outdoor dining options to choose from. The joyful ambience of this retreat is the fact that you can choose total privacy in your cottage and private beach garden or join a couple of other guests for a drink. On our first night we met a joyful group of international background who invited us to join them for a sun downer and later we dined together, sharing our experiences of this wonderful island of Zanzibar. But if you prefer, you can also have your meals on your private veranda with sea view.

These seafront cottages on Zanzibar are ideal for couples or groups of friends looking for a vacation in a quality accommodation at very competitive prices.
