Our personal review (visited 2011)
Diani is a well established tourist location, lined with perhaps one of the most splendid and unique beaches on the East African coast and a 30 minutes drive south of Mombasa Island once passed Likoni ferry. This villa is easily accessible via Moi (Mombasa) International Airport approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from the villa with daily national and international flights or a very short 15 minute drive from Ukunda Airstrip with daily flights from Nairobi with Fly540.com
The villa is a 3 minute drive from Diani beach road through a very small local village and typical African coastal shrubs.
The villa is set amongst 6 acres of highly maintained tropical gardens, lawns with beds of beautiful plants and flowers, shrubs, coconut trees, banana trees and palms making this paradise an ideal location to spot colorful butterflies, birds and monkeys.
The white powder beach that attracts all to Diani is a 5 to 7 minute walk from the villa.
On entering the villa gates, you will be positively surprised by the immaculate gardens and main "Royal Villa" that dominates the centre of the property. The Royal Villa is the biggest of the 3 villas.
The main Royal Villa can accommodate up to 12 guests and is divided into 1 en-suite master room with a large balcony facing the pool and gardens and 2 en-suite deluxe bedrooms on upper floor as well as 1 en-suite master room and 2 semi-detached en-suite deluxe rooms on the ground floor.
The ground floor with direct access to the pool and gardens hosts extra large living room/lounge which opens onto an outdoor dining terrace overlooking the gardens. This outdoor dining area is mainly used for serving tropical breakfast, lunches and dinners cooked and served by the professional trained staff that work at the villa and are at your complete service.
The villa has a large outdoor pool, separate Jacuzzi and is well furnished with pool beds, chairs and tables to relax and soak up the African sun as well as the unique sounds that only the tropical bush can provide.
Situated a few meters from the large pool is an open bar providing all the beverages you may wish to drink on vacation as well as a satellite TV to keep you updated with news and sport around the globe. The bar is staffed until the last person heads to bed –
